Saving the Puerto Rican Crested Toad

In 1966, Dragonwood Wildlife Conservancy rediscovered the Puerto Rican crested toad, a species presumed extinct. Our comprehensive conservation strategy, including habitat restoration and captive breeding, has been instrumental in boosting the population of this unique amphibian. This success story underscores the importance of our work in preventing species extinction.
